Students will learn computerized bookkeeping utilizing the QuickBooks software. This program will expose students to basic and more advanced tools used to set up and manage a business. Learn how to create invoices, make payments, manage receivables, and produce instant reports and charts. Setting up and managing payroll is also covered. Note: It is recommended (but not required) to take QuickBooks in conjunction with our Bookkeeping course to learn more about the accounting cycle, accounting principals, and terminology. |

| This course furnishes comprehensive instruction in the fundamental principles of general ledger bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining a set of active books, preparation and interpretation of relevant monthly reports, closing books at the end of fiscal periods and the reconciliation of bank statements. Procedures involving receivables, payables and payroll are emphasized. |
